About The Author
Joe Calloway
Embarking on an internal spiritual pilgrimage paved the way for my profound exploration of existential questions, culminating in the creation of my inaugural literary work, “Omniscience: Religion and Me” and my next book soon be published called “SLAP! -Surpression, lies, abuse and Power…”
Driven by a fervent desire to comprehend our existence in a context that predates the codification of biblical narratives and the establishment of Canaan, I delved into the roots of spiritual ideologies. This quest was rooted in the recognition that the formulation of religious doctrines, notably the establishment of Canaan, was not merely a theological endeavor but a strategic move orchestrated by influential figures such as Plato, Constantine, and the Council of Nicaea in Rome.
In Plato’s philosophical realm, the creation of a theological narrative served as a means to shape societal values and moral conduct. This concept transcended the boundaries of philosophy, influencing the course of religious history. The subsequent alignment of political power, as seen through Constantine’s reign, further emphasized the strategic nature of theological narratives in consolidating authority.
The Council of Nicaea, convened under the auspices of Constantine, played a pivotal role in standardizing Christian doctrine. This ecclesiastical assembly, held in Rome, aimed at resolving theological disputes and establishing a unified understanding of Christian tenets. The decisions made during this council not only shaped the contours of Christianity but also contributed to the perpetuation of a specific theological narrative that served political and social objectives.
My exploration into these historical and philosophical dimensions laid the foundation for “Omniscience: Religion and Me.” The book endeavors to unravel the intricacies of religious narratives, questioning their origins and motivations. It is a journey through time and ideology, challenging conventional perspectives and inviting readers to contemplate the interplay between spirituality, politics, and the human quest for meaning.
In essence, my about me statement encapsulates a personal odyssey that transcends individual introspection, delving into the broader tapestry of religious history and its enduring impact on human consciousness.
